Antique lamps have attachment systems that may not always correspond with those of today. Thus the difficulty of finding a lampshade for a lamp of the past. By reusing the original wire frame of the lampshade allows the creation on an identical lampshade. In accordance with your criteria (choice of fabric, finishings, …) your lampshade finds a new life.

Custom-made lampshades : to your measurements (bottom width – top width – slant length or vertical height – margin height), your choice of fabric, your fitter/wire frame, … are also feasible (for France).

HARDBACK LAMPSHADES

Hardback shades are made by laminating fabric (or paper) onto a plastic inner liner.
The liner is made to withstand heat and to diffuse the light uniformly.

SOFTBACK LAMPSHADES

Softback shades are made exclusively out of fabric either stretched or pleated. On softback lampshades, the inner lining is stretched as well on the full wire frame.
A braid, trim, fringe, bias, cord, … is applied as a finishing.
